Växthuset translates to “Greenhouse” and it describes this place very well. At trendy “Söder” in Stockholm, under the Skanstull bridge, this plant-based oasis is located. In this unique fine dining restaurant with withe tablecloths and art on the walls, in a house from the 19th century plant-based cooking is taken to new levels. With the mission to make nordic ingredients and cooking methods really delicious the kitchen is serving tasting menus with 3 or 5 all plant based servings.
The drink menu is filled with craft wines, ciders, äppelmust, sodas and lots more non alcoholic and cool beverages (many of them from nearby producers!).
During the summer time an outdoor summer club is surrounding Växthuset and the area under the bridge. The whole courtyard is then filled with bars, scenes, DJs, food and hang out spots. Each year several concerts, events and other happenings is taking place here - so make sure to come by! During wintertime the club is heading inside, only doors away from the restaurants. The two contrasting worlds nearby gives another dimension to this very special and delicious food experience.
