With the help of foodies from all around the country I’m searching for and discovering delicious places to eat and drink throughout the country - to show what Sweden has to offer!

This guide is filled with restaurants, cafes, bakeries, lunch spots, grocery stores and food trucks with really delicious and fun plant-based food - well worth a taste - on their menus. I’m visiting both all plant-based places, and places with great plant-based food as a part of their menu.

Plant-based food is as simple as it sounds - food on plants; vegetables, leafy greens, herbs, legumes, cereals, nuts, seeds and other delicious things from the plant world which build up dishes with lots of flavours, textures, colors and nutrition!

Hi, I’m Thess

Plant-based food is passion. I want to show that vegetables are cool, legumes sexy and that plant-based food can be r e a l l y delicious and fun! Both cooking and eating. So, I want to share my favourite spots all around Sweden - and include you in my hunt for new delicious food experiences.

Besides writing this guide I write books about plant-based food, books which are translated to several languages, and one of them even award-winning! I also create recipes and take photos, cook on national television and create photo and text content related to food and adventures for news papers, cool companies and my own brand Plant based by Thess.
