Menu vary with the season - however something that you will always find on the menu is the “pinnbröd” (translates to Bread on a stick) with a miso butter glaze, a must try!

A place where old flavour memories are brought back to life - and new ones are created. Chefs Birgit Malmcrona and Johan Backéus who runs Naturaj both spent years at several famous restaurants in Stockholm before they decided to head back north to where Johan grew up - to get closer to nature and to build up the restaurant of their dreams.

Naturaj is a restaurant where Japanese influences are tossed together with Johans and Birgits Nordic heritage. The surrounding nature is reflected in the food that are put on the plates, and you often find elements such as fermented vegetables originally from their own garden, edible wild plants and spruce shoots sugar. This is innovative and creative food which tells a story.

The menu is changing with the seasons, and whenever you visit Naturaj you can be sure to experience a food journey through the Northern part of Sweden - and a brief visit to Japan - from your seat right in front of the kitchen where the chefs are preparing the food of the evening.
